the tower of the City Hall and the november moon

Last weekend Kiels (old) City Hall celebrated its 100th birthday. When it was opened in 1911 the german Emperor Wilhem II came to pay his tribute to this new building with its 106 m tower rising above the “Rathaus”. Today this “Rathausturm” is still one of Kiels tallest landmarks.
